7 Day Itinerary for The Bay of Islands New Zealand:
Day One:
Fly from Auckland to Keri Keri. Transfer to the Yacht which will be anchored just off Waitangi. Lunch on board then go ashore to the visit the Waitangi Treaty grounds. Partake in a guided tour of the grounds which will visit the Waka (large Maori war canoe), Meeting house and some of the first English settler’s houses. Return to the yachts for dinner and relaxing evening.
  
Day Two:
Cruise out to the “Hole in the Rock” passing many picturesque bays and Islands. On the way back stop at Robinson Island and walk to the top of the Island (10 mins) for a 360 degree view of the surrounding Islands. Return to Anchor off Russell. Go ashore for an Eco tour of Russell. That night dine at Kamakura, Russell’s premier restaurant.
  
Day Three:
Day trip departing 8.00 am from Paihia up to Cape Reinga. On this trip you will travel in comfort from Paihia to the very top of New Zealand with your own personal guide. Including giant Kauri trees, stunning white sand harbours, towering dunes, and the mystical Cape Reinga itself – this big day out is sure to offer lasting memories and encompasses all that Northland is about. Lunch is included in the day trip and is provided by Dunerider 4x4 Ltd.
  
Day Four:
Cruise up the coast through the Cavilli Islands and Anchor off Kauri Cliffs golf course. Tender ashore for a round of golf at this picturesque location. Dine at the Lodge for lunch.
In the after noon cruise and anchor at the Cavilli Islands. Maybe do a Scuba dive or some water sports.
  
Day Five:
Cruise up the coast to the Whangaroa harbour. This is a sheltered harbour with many coves to Anchor in. Visit Kingfisher Lodge for lunch or dinner and hire a Game fishing boat for the day to do some serious fishing. After dinner travel back overnight to anchor off Great Barrier Island.
  
Day Six:
Explore Great Barrier Island ashore. Many forest walks, waterfalls etc to see. Another great opportunity for diving.
  
Day Seven:
Depart early for Waiheke Island. Go ashore here and visit one of many of the world renound Vineyards. Stay ashore for lunch. Early afternoon head back to Auckland and depart that night.
Spending a couple of nights in Auckland is advised before or after the trip to explore New Zealand’s largest city.
